Dr. Bourgeois was born and raised in Michigan and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. After graduation, she relocated to New Orleans to attend Tulane University School of Medicine where she fell in love with plastic surgery, Louisiana, and her husband. Dr. Bourgeois then completed her integrated Plastic Surgery residency training at the University of California Irvine where she trained alongside some of the foremost reconstructive and cosmetic surgeons in the country. Dr. Bourgeois brought the cutting-edge techniques she acquired in her training to Baton Rouge where she has been in practice since 2017. As a woman, mother, and surgeon, her special interests are female cosmetic surgery of the breast, body, and face and reconstructive surgery for breast and skin cancer. Dr. Bourgeois works to meet patient’s aesthetic goals and is dedicated to each patient’s comfort and satisfaction. She loves that every day provides a new challenge to provide the best outcomes for her patients while providing compassionate and complete care. Dr. Bourgeois lives with her husband, DJ, a New Orleans native who is also a physician, her daughter, Juliette, and her Goldendoodle, Stella. Outside of the office, she enjoys travel, being active outdoors, and exploring Louisiana.
